General Busyness

Month 2 in Canada has been amazing, but more on that next week. There are more pressing matters in the rant below and a few announcements.

No more Cheap Oil. When we had our 10 and half anniversary party back in February, we managed to scare the shit out of everybody there with the documentary 'The End of Suburbia'. Unfortunately we didn't have copies for sale, and the requests for DVD's was overwhelming. Now you can get a copy through the subMedia Webmart. We guarantee you will share this one with all your friends.

Molotov Sells out! Our initial run of 500 copies is gone. We managed to mail copies to people all over the world and now we up the ante. We are offering the entire DVD as free Bit Torrent download. If you haven't heard about Bit Torrent, you have been living under a rock. Don't worry, go to our download page and we'll update you.

Shoplifters of the World Unite!! subMedia's last film 'Why I Love Shoplifting from Big Corporations' has been s screened several times during the G8 summit as part of the 'Lost Film Fest' and it has been accepted to the Atlanta Underground Film Festival, so expect to see me around the dirty south in August.

George Bush, still Evil. Back in 2002 we put this little masterpiece by Atlanta experimental arts duo Figure 1.1 on our site. We felt we needed to bring it back as a friendly reminder.

This unzipped fine for me a while ago. Do you get an error message? Or does it just seem to hang? If the latter, it could just be taking a long time - a VERY long time (gigs here).
